FOTD - Soft and Simple

Here's a sneak shot of mine, before we go to church :) We have this so call midweek meeting every Thursday :) This is my Face of The Night actually (Cause the meeting usually starts at 7pm). I am not ready to make a fotd-tutorial since I am not good in instructing or videoing myself and also I don't have a good recorder. (Nahihiya pa din kasi ako). Moving on, here's the pictures.

I use to pony tail my hair every now and then because half ng hair ko ay curl na, need to save some bucks first and undergo with a rebond / japanese straight next year, I want it to grow much longer para mas sulit pag inistraight :) So here's a sample of my make-up routine :) How bout you sweety?? Haul: Finickee Shoes

Dahil may natira pa sa aking budget, I went to Sta.Lucia mall today instead of going to Sm Taytay (which has a year end sale) because I know, sobrang liit ng SM Taytay at masyadong limited ang mga brand ng shoes. I only have 1,700 pesos to spent. As in 1,700 lang. I went out with my mom and my nephew (nagdate kame) hehe. Nakaplanned na ako na bumili ng shoes since ang mga heels ko dito sa bahay ay humihingi na ng hustisya (ibig sabihin malapit na sirang masira). By the way, i'll try to make a separate post if how many pairs of shoes I have. I do love shoes, specially yung may mga heels (thou di naman ako maliit pero sobrang hilig ko talaga don), I usually buy shoes / heels every 2 months or kapag may ipon ako rather than buying bags or accessories. Pero take note, hindi ako bumibili ng shoes / heels na hindi on SALE (sabi ko sayo kuripot ako eh). Kapag lumalampas ng 500 di ko talaga sya binibili. hahahaha. Anyway, we went to Ferretti store, but wasn't able to find the heels that I am looking for. So we went to the Department store which has a lot of stalls of different brands of shoes that you can choose from. I went to, Mario De' Boro stall (which is my favorite too), Rusty Lopez, Figlia, and etc. So lots of shoes. I was like , "If only I have 10k, i'll buy 10 pairs of shoes, and another 5 pairs for my mom". Nangawit ako kakahanap ng SALE at Mark Down Items, and after 48 thousand 618 years, naspottan ko ang Finickee Stall.. I saw those chunky type of heels and when I take a look on the price, I was like, O may gas! ang mura naman! At di na ko umalis don. haha sinukat ko na lahat ng shoes and finally I came on buying this two pairs. You wouldn't believe if I told you how much their prices.

I chose brown and black . Let's go close up with the brown one with chunky heels (It was mom who chose it, because it has chunky heels, mas comfortable daw ito at matibay ayon sa kanya).

When worn:

I think this one was meant for formal attire :) Both heels have the same height of heels (maybe 3 inches, wasn't sure, wasn't able to measure it, but the brown is in size 6 while the black is 7, nagvavary talaga ang size ng paa ko sa mga shoes, weird).

 Isn't it Fabulous?? hehe  Total budger damage, P700.00 for two pairs??? Not bad :)

So if you really are out of the budget, like me, just look around, thousands of steps of walking was worth it kapag nakahanap ka ng mura . Kahit abutin ka ng 2 oras or more, okay lang yan, dahil ang taong gipit, maghahanap ng mura pero sulit ! That's all for now guys. Be posting another haul tomorrow and maybe a new nail art tutorial!

Kutob - Mgaepal.com

I am not really in the mood to make a make-up review and haul so I decided to make a post which is irrelevant to cosmetics / make-up :D. I've already told you sweeties that I am an avid reader of Mgaepal.com, and since we haven't seen them (the four ninjas), we don't have any idea if how do they look like. I made a question poll on a group on facebook which I am a member of. I was in doubt, if the votes will reach the sum total of 125 (Since the group has 125 members, only 25% of the members are active and the rest are inactive members), so there were only 42 votes and there were only 5 days to vote (w/c is a very short period of time).

 For you to see the question, here's the print screen of the result of the poll :)

Overall, the winner is Manong Guard :) !! Wherein Kultu and Bosschip has the same number of Votes, while Bunso has the least (thou 1 point lang naman ang lamang ni Boss at Kultu). I was torn between Kulturantado and Bunso (ultimate crush ko kasi si Bunso pero nasulsulan ako ni Aqua at Bien na si Kultu daw ang ivote,pero Bunso, kayo pa rin po ang number 1 sa akin) hahaha, sana wag magtampo si Manong Guard, dahil di sya ang vi-note ko, ayoko naman maging bias (Manong Guard alam nyo na yun :D ) at kahit naman hindi ikaw ang vi-note ko, nanalo ka pa din. Lahat ng votes ay dinaan sa Kutob.

Review: EB Advance Shine Free Make-Up Foundation

I really wanted to make a very informative post about the Ever Bilena Advance Shine Free Make-up Foundation, but still, I am not in the mood and I can't concentrate to come up with that. I am very sorry for that. That's why i decided to make a quick review about it, before i run out of the product very soon. I've been using this for a month now, and I am satisfied with the result. By the way, there are 4 types of foundation from EB, the Pro-Flawless Foundation (which is said to be recommended for dry skin), the Shine Free Foundation (claiming to give you a matte result), Studio Finish Stick Foundation (have a creamy texture) and the Two way Cake Powder Foundation (can be use dry/wet).

 It comes with a gold cap tube, contains 30 ML for P130.00

 It has UVA/UVB Sunscreen.

Pro's:

• Affordable price, 30ML for P130.00
• It gives a matte face for almost 3 hours
• No weird smell (smells like soft and yummy biscuit) hehe really don't know how to describe it
• Easy to blend (with fingers or with stippling brush)
• Has medium coverage
• No break out

Con's:

• When it comes to coverage, the Two WAy Cake Powder Foundation is far way better that this. I've been using the TWCP for a year and i found it effective in covering pimple scar whether you use it dry or wet for full coverage. Really amazing!

That's all. But the product is 8/10! Recommended for oily skin :)

MAC FAFI POWDER PLUS FOUNDATION

Since i'm out of budget, I wasn't able to get the MAC Make-up kit, It cost around P800.00, and eventhou my bestfriend told me that I can pay it thru installment, I opted for this Mac Powder Foundation, Studio Fix (Fafi Collection). It cost around P350.00. I am torn between Fafi Foundation or The Studio Fix Foundation (P450.00). I've read a lots of good review about the SFP, specially on it's coverage formula. But since, again, for second time around, I'm out of budget, I chose the fafi because it has a refill. The Fafi and SFP has the same amount (15gms.). So since, i am so kuripot, sa Fafi nalang ako dahil may extra refill pa sya which is i can use for maybe 2 months. I try it this morning, (mejo kinakabahan ba ako kung masasayang lang ako 350 pesos ko.). HAha, And I was surprise by the result, thou it doesn't actually cover the imperfections on my face (like acne marks) I found it good because it gives me a matte look and a very smooth face. Yeah, a smooth face even if you touch it pa sa tunay na buhay! hehe lmao^^

So here's the picture of the product.

This is the cute compact of Mac Fafi, very girly and nakakabata ng atmosphere (ano daw??) the compact is made of plastic and doesn't look expensive.

Why did i purchased this instead of the Famous Studio Fix Foundation? ( Dahil nga kuripot ako, i opted this dahil may refill sya :D ) Nyahahaha..

This is the sponge included inside the compact, and it also has a mirror. The sponge is so soft and doesn't have any annoying or weird smell. Very usable!

Ask the Authors Quick Fire Edition

Once again nasama na naman ako sa Ask The authors ng mga ninja :) Pati pala yung bagsakan ng 4 lines na poem nasama din pala ako. Eto pala yung binagsak nilang sagot mula sa question ko na "Why do i feel pressure / nervous every time that me and my ex-boyfriend accidentally see each other again?". 

Natawa ako ng mabasa ko yung sagot nila, natawa dahil totoo. Totoo kasing hindi kame nagkaroon ng formal o maayos na closure when we ended our relationship, so maybe kaya nga siguro ganon. Tama ang mga authors (Boss chip, Bunso, Manong Guard at Kultu!) Ang galing nyo talaga! Salamat pala ulit sa pagpili sa tanong ko mga boss. As of now, they are recovering from being hacked last month. Dumadami na ulit ang likers nila sa FB.

Thrifty Cart - Online Shopping

My friend, Rachel started selling RTW online last November. She has pre-loved items and brand new RTW's.Since she's a friend of mine and she was also my college mate I got these products in a very affordable price, would you believe that 5 items would only damaged me for P 450.00? As in Four Hundred Fifty pesos Only! So to share it with you guys, here's what I've got:

I got these last Tuesday, through meet up and she didn't ask me for additional payment for her transpo :) That's why i so love her! hehehe Thanks Honey Rachel for the items! I really love them. I wore yesterday the Harlem shorts when mom and I went to market and it was so comfortable rather than wearing those short-shorts. And the Chinese collar red top I am wearing it today. I told you I am very cheap when it comes to buying clothes and make up, (wala kasi akong pera!) haha.
