My cousin's make over: Acquaintance Party

Another thing that I am proud of myself is that, my cousins don't need to hire a MUA (since they cannot afford it) or ask for someone else to do their makeup during special occasions. I am just "one kalabit" away, and I will surely glad to do their makeup. I just love it when they give their trust to me and believe that I can somehow "transform" them and make them beautiful in one of the happiest moment of their high school or college life even if I am not a pro. And of course, at least, they also benefited from the things that I've learned from reading a lot about beauty blogs. Most specially, it's overwhelming when after the makeover, they feel beautiful and say the sweetest word like : "Thank you ate Jenny"!. I just feel so good!

So here, I did my cousin's makeover for her Acquaintance party last August. I almost forgot to share this here on my blog.  So I decided to share it with you now. lols.

My cousin, April is a 17-year old college student at University of Rizal System. She wanted to look simple. Here's how she looks like without any makeup on.

But I actually had a problem during our makeover, I wasn't able to buy a foundation which will suit on her dark complexion. "Gawa paraan nalang".

She has thick and bushy eyebrows.
So I have to groom it, but since we were in a hurry that time, I just shave it and here's how it looks like:
I just redefined her eyebrows with EB Brow Pencil, and use the Nyx Eyeshadow in Sexy Blue eyes on her eyes.
Nyx E/S No. 10 on the 1/3 of her eyelids
Nyx E/S No.10 on the outer V

This is how she looks like after I applied foundation, powder, e/s and groomed her eyebrows.

Here's the close up look:

Products used:
Face
Loreal BB Cream
Shawill Blush on

Eyes
Ever Bilena Eyebrow Pencil (Medium Brown)
Maybelline Volum Express Mascara

Lips

More pictures with her MUA, lol:

And that's it.
What do you think guys, did I make justice to her face?
Please, I need to know. lols

Thanks,

  3. I love this look! Actually I love doing make-up for dark-skinned girls. The colors bronze and silver, or any mettalic colors, are really visible against their skin tone kasi.

  5. Gurl, may career ka na talaga diyan! She looks so pretty na without makeup and with your magic, she looks even more radiant! Yan ang magaling na MUA - doesn't change the total look, only enhances and brings out the natural beauty of the client :) Galing! Keep up the good job, ziz! Looking forward to more of your makeovers :) Ma-try ko nga mag "makeover" rin kuno so I can practice my mook-up skillz!
