Say goodbye to dry face!

Dry, flaky skin?
That has been my problem since I started using the Maxi Peel Exfoliant Solution for my skin breakout (will do a separate post). Yes, if you are using an exfoliant solution, skin dryness is your enemy. Since you can't apply makeup when you have dry skin, cause it will only exaggerate the flakiness, I found the solution to such dilemma.

Though sunblock cream from Maxipeel can help the dryness, I want a moisturizer that I can put before I go to sleep. Since other moisturizers are expensive, as I am walking around at Watson's, i decided to pick this MYRA-E Moisturizer.

Myra Moisturizer P74.00
The Myra-E moisturizer comes in three variants the Myra Moisturizer, Myra Daily Sun Protect,
and Myra Vita White moisturizer.

With regards to its packaging, the front box contains the name and content of the product.

On the side of the box you will see the direction for use and manufacturer.

On the lower part of the other side of the box is its
ingredients, expiration date and lot no.

The back part of the box detailed the effect of the product.
Is it really a non-greasy formula? Check on the pictures below.

Here's how the product look like.

This one comes with the red cap.
The product itself also contains all the information that the user needs to know.

How the moisturizer looks like?

aw, freckles at the back of my hand!!
As of its consistency, as you can see in the picture. This one is a bit thinner than the sun protect (which has SPF). It has a watery'ish texture.

Upon blending, it feels like a gel or a serum but it needs two to five minutes to really absorb in the skin.

I dom't know why but my hand looks so texturized in this photo.

When absorbed, it doesn't feel sticky or heavy. You can feel that your face becomes soft and supple.

I use this before I go to sleep and before I put my makeup on (which also serves as my primer).
It doesn't break me out and when I wake up in the morning, I don't have any grease or oil on my face. It just a soft and supple skin!

Do I recommend this? YES! I recommend this to all of you. A moisturizer is really an important product since I can feel that the weather is getting colder na. YES! Finally!  So yeah, if you are looking for affordable moisturizer, grab one from MYRA-E moisturizers!

Myra - E Daily Sun protect Facial Moisturizer w/ SPF15

Here's another product review.
A cheap moisturizer that you will definitely like too.

Cost: P49.00 (buy1take1)
Where: Watsons
Condition: A must have
I bought this from this haul, I got this for buy1take last time Watson's had their sale. So technically I bought this for only P24.50.
I'm glad cause it has SPF 15 for Daily protection. I've learned that even on rainy season, we still need those SPF's!

Direction for use:

Ingredients:

Benefits:

The product:
I like the packaging of all Myra-E products. Even if they are cheap and affordable, still the packaging looks nice and good.

Like the other Myra-E facial products, this one comes in a tube with orange cap. The one which has red caps are the normal moisturizer, the one which has yellow/brownish cap is the tinted moisturizer.

This is how the product looks like. The consistency is much thicker than the usual Myra-E moisturizer (red cap).
With flash.
When spread, you might notice that it's texture has more likely of sunblock. I think it's because it has SPF. But sunblock is more thicker than this one.
When spread evenly.
It may seems that it gives you a white outcast when you apply this on your face but fret not, once the skin absorbed it, the moisturizer will become invisible.
After few minutes of letting it absorbed by skin, this is how it looks like.
See, the product is invisible and did not cause any oiliness or shiny look.

The Good points:
- Affordablle :)
- Has SPF 15!
- Easy to blend
- 49.00 pesos for 50ML
- A little goes a long way.
- It does not break me out.
- Can be use as makeup base.
- Does not make my face oily.
- Has no weird smell. I really like it's smell.
- It is true to it's promise when it comes to moisturizing your face.

Bad points:
Nothing.

Conclusion:
Myra-E has a special place in my heart. Why? Because all of the products that I have already tried from this brand does not break me out. From lotion, moisturizer, tinted moisturizer, whitening creams and vitamins. Parang "Hitting two birds with one stone", Affordable and Effective. I've been using the tinted moisturizer for almost 7 months na, and still I almost have half of the tube pa. I will make a separated post about it.
I've been using this product as my Daily moisturizer, as night cream, and as a makeup base. It truly moisturizes my skin. And I am glad because I bought this on a B1t1 promo! (Kuripot me!) So yeah, I strongly recommend this to anyone who is looking for affordable moisturizer.

So who would say that cheap product like Myra-E can't solve that dry skin of yours?
Yes this is a Thrifty Pretty product! :)
Btw, have you tried this one too?

I am not paid nor sponsored to make a review about this product. All the things that I've mentioned above were based on my honest observation.

And that's it.

Review: Deep Shine Control Moisturizer (HG)

Deep Action Shine Control Moisturiser (Matte)

Way back 4 years ago, I've never been to applying moisturizer on my skin. I really hate products which will make my skin oily. Like when you apply cream before you go to sleep, and when you wake up in the morning, when you are about to touch your face you'll notice that you can even use the oil on your face to fry an egg?. Yuck! But things had been changed when I reach the age of 20. After reading lots of articles, I found out that even if you have an oily face, you shouldn't neglect putting moisturizer on your face (do not forget your neck!). This will prevent (not stop) those wrinkles and dryness. Pero, I really don't like those moisturizer which makes even my hands oily after applying it on my face. And when the sunshine comes out, oh no! Hello oily face! That's why I put moisturizer before I go to bed, or during morning if and only if I am into  peeling. But during ordinary days, I don't usually put moisturizer cause It is so sticky! But now, I met this Mattifying Moisturizer, believe it or not, this is the best Moisturizer I had ever met in my life EVER! And it might sound impossible too pero it only cost P36.00! Hey! It's from Watson's beauty line. I got this one on sale together with The PureBeauty Cleansing Water from my last haul. It was the curiosity which makes me to picked up this product, and since it is mura, why not? Go lang, try ko na!

Sorry for the bad lightning, I only used my brother's phone

P36.00 (On Sale)

I tried it immediately the first night that I bought it. And BELIEVE me, it mattifies my skin! You just have to wait 3 minutes and you will feel the cooling effect of it! I so love it!

To show you how effective it is here's the proof:
Bare Hands, without flash

Bare hands, with flash

With DASCM
Well distributed

It looks shiny at first but after few minutes, it will gone.
After 2 minutes. . . .
After 3 minutes . . . .
After 5 minutes. . .
Just after 5 minutes you will see that the moisturizer shrink in your skin.
And here's the final photo, the comparison after 15 minutes:
See, what it promises on it's label says that it doesn't clog pores and you can see the result in just 1 use, and that's TRUE!! Try this and you will surely agree that this is one of the best Matte Moisturizer. It has a cooling sensation too.

If you are going to ask me what I hate about this product? Honestly I can't see anything. PROMISE!!

Deep Shine Control has blotting paper and other facial products.
You can purchase this product at Watson's.

That's all for today.
Thank you for reading!
Happy Weekend!
