First 2014 Online Haul : Golddot

Welcome back to me! Haha. Haven't been blogging since December last year. Anyways, thank you to those who keep on coming back to this blog even though there's no new post. So to cut that long hiatus, I am now sharing with you my first online haul for this year.

You know how much I love shoes. As in! So when Gold dot announced that they will be having an annual sale, I immediately wait until 12nn to visit the site and buy some shoes. You know that I am a sucker of sale (kuripot much!). So here's what I've got:
Heather Orig Price P995.00
Got this for only P250.00

Heidi Flats Orig Price P950.00
Got this for only P250.00

Unfortunately, the sizes were too small for my feet, so I gave these 2 pairs to mom and they fits perfectly since mom has 4.5 size of feet. (Why so liit)

There are signs of wear since mom already using this for a month before I took pictures to blog this :))

I really love this unique design from Gold dot. The plastic strap is so simple yet it looks so elegant when worn. It is also very lightweight. Everytime mom wears this pair, a lot of her friends complement the shoes because they are so cute! 2 thumbs up to the genius designers of Gold Dot shoes.

The other one is this red flats. They are light weight too and the color is perfect. Mom use this to Christian meetings too.

I only paid P500 for the 2 pairs and P80.00 for the shipping fee. They arrived after a day. What a fast transaction, isn't it? Thank you Gold Dot! Will definitely purchase again (basta Sale!) hehe.

Curious what other designs they have, visit Gold Dot.ph to see more of their fabulous shoes!

The Amazing Shoe Rack

Hello guys! Good evening! So how was your long weekend? I hope you enjoyed it a lot. Anyway, I am going to share with you my happiness! Finally, I have this Shoe Rack that I've been wanting to have for so long. You know guys, I am a shoe lover. And I am starting to collect shoes since last year (dahil may work na ko, may pambili na ko ng shoes yehey!) but the problem is that I don't have the right place where I can put them all.

Well, this afternoon when nanay and I was doing the laundry, a vendor was walking at our Sitio and selling the amazing shoe rack. Nanay called Manong and asked if how much is the shoe rack. Manong said it;s P650.00, I was really in shocked when I heard it (while I was watching Survivor Philippines, go Malcolm go Malcolm!). And we make 'tawaran' kay Manong. I told him that it is only P200.00 online. But he insisted that he can't give it to me for only P200.00 (syempre wala na silang tubo). So he gave it to me for only P300.00 as 'last tawad', mom agreed and she bought it for me. Naawa na din kasi kami kay Manong, since he told us that he really needs the money, he only sold 1 shoe rack from all day walking.

So after we do the laundry, we immediately arrange my shoes. And here it is:

 The Amazing Shoe Rack:
Light weight and Portable.
 Easy to assemble and dis-assemble.
Strong metal pipes and plastic parts.
Easy to Fold and Store.

Can sotre 30 pairs of shoes.

So  here's how it looks like after I arrange my shoes:

So I am able to stack 23 pairs of shoes (heels, flats, rubber shoes, slipper and some 5 boxes of shoes).

I normally put my shoes which have higher heels at the top kasi di siya kasya sa baba, mejo narrow kasi yung height of each layers so you can store your boots on the highest layer.

Here's the second layer.

3rd layer.

4th layer.

5th layer

6th layer

 7th, 8th and 9th layer.
There is still one layer, but wasn't able to captured it on the picture.

What can I say about the Amazing Shoe rack?

Pretty thing:
Affordable
Portable
Light weight
Easy to assemble
Can store  20-25 pair of shoes

Ugly truth:
The rack cannot stand with heavy shoes
You need to balance Stilettos and shoes with thin heels on the thin metals.
The width and height of the layers are too narrow.
If you only have narrow feet then you can store 3 pair of shoes on each layers

But nonetheless, I still recommend this to everyone who is looking for cheap shoe rack.

That's it.

My First Online Shopping at U.S through House of Flair

I'm not afraid of shopping online locally, since I am not using credit card or paypal (dahil wala naman ako nun), much safer kasi for me kung ang payment ay through bank deposits. And of course I always make sure that the seller is trusted. But I haven't tried shopping at U.S online stores, cause I know, I don't have paypal or mastercards, and I am just annoyed on how much the shipping fee they would cost me for just a pair of shoes. I remember last August, when I heard that Tilly's.com wass having it's clearance sale and I saw items there that cost $0.99 for accessories and $4.00 for a pair of flats, such a steal right? So I added items on my cart, and upon proceeding to checkout, I was kinda, Oh My Men! You know how much the shipping fee from U.S to Philippines, double the total amount of the items on my cart. I was really heartbroken by the S.F :(, but I'm glad that House of Flair  came to the rescue. Or should I call it a Hero? lol

Well, if you haven't heard anything about HOF here's some info about the store:

Ms.Suyen (owner of HOF) informed me that HOF can help me with my problem. And guess what, I only have to pay additional fees but not as much as what the site costs me. And I was literally shocked that the fees does not burn holes in my pocket.! So, last Thursday my package arrived! Wow! After almost 1 1/2 months of waiting finally, here comes my new babies!
"Don't be fooled by the box that I've got. . . gorgeous shoes are inside the box!"

I am really really happy with my purchase. House of Flair is really a hero! For a budget conscious like me, HOF is really the answer if I wanted to buy something imported! Therefore I conclude, that HOF is truly a trusted store!

DIY: Shoe Ankle Strap in just 8 simple ways!

The Problem: I have a pair of flats that I bought from "The Little Things She Needs" 3 months ago. The problem is, I was in a hurry when I bought it, so I only fit the flats for a very short period of time, and I didn't even bother to walk it around the store, I just fit it then pay to the counter, because my nephew was very hungry na. Well then, when I wore it for the very first time, and took my few steps, I discovered that the flats were larger than my size, though it is size 36. Maybe it was already worn out (I mean, it's the last pair kasi since I bought it on Sale). I am very disappointed because it always happen to me. I was blinded on it's cheap price and sometimes I usually buy shoes because I just love it's design. So I wear it rarely, and even if I do, I hardly walk whenever I wear it, you know the feeling when you are wearing shoes that is larger than your size, seems like you are pushing your feet backwards para di mo maiwan ang shoes mo. I planned to sell it online, but one thing came up to my mind and share it with you on how I solve my problem :)

Sorry for the gross feet. Bad mosquitoes!
 Cost: P280 (on sale)
Original Price: P480?
Where: TLTSN Robinson's Galleria

I can put my pointing finger inside. That's the allowance of the shoes.
Baka mag-ala Cinderella ang peg ko nito kapag may nakatapak sa sapatos ko no?!
Kaloka!

The Solution: DIY Shoe Ankle Strap
I only spent P4.75 for this! :)

Wanna know how? Keep on reading below!

First, these are the things that you need:
1. 1 yard of black flat garter P4.75
 2. Needle and Thread
 3. Scissors and 2 pieces of buttons.
4. Tape Measure (forgot to include picture)

INSTRUCTIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
 1. Cut a 2 inch-length of the black flat garter.(two pieces)

2. Fold it in a loop.

 3. Position it on the inner back corner of your shoe at the very center (where you see the stitch of the shoe).

 4. Start stitching the garter on your shoe in an outward motion. Just like the above picture.

  5. Before you stitch it back inward, place the button through the thread. It well serve as design so it will hide the stitches that you are making.

    6. Keep on stitching and make it sure to lock the thread after.
You are now finished with the loop that will hold the ankle strap.

7. Next is the ankle strap. Measure the circumference of your ankle. Once you get the size, cut the spare garter corresponds to the size of your ankle.

7. Insert the strap on the loop.

8. Secure the strap by stitching it on the loop.
And you are done!

Here's the finish project:

 Sexy ankle strap!
the other loop has been bent lang.
Now you know what's the purpose of the buttons right?
Instead of letting the stitch shows, why not put buttons to hide them?

I have now a pair of shoes with ankle strap. I've been dreaming of having one! But now, dream came true ang peg! Plus, DIY pa!
What I really like about ankle strap is that, it can make your legs longer and sexier!

Before, I used to wear this only thrice from the day that I bought it. But after creating my "diy ankle strap" I wear this 1 week straight! I am not afraid na maging ala Cinderella ang peg.
Problem Solved!
I have no worries and problem with this shoes anymore.Really comfortable to walk with.
With just 5 pesos, I am able to solve my problem!
I am planning to do the same thing to my Maud pumps, since it is a bit larger on me. But maybe I'll sell it nalang.

Please do my check my previous DIY post "DIY:Shoe flower"

And that's it I hope you guys liked this post! And you find it helpful.
I am thinking if I'll make a DIY post every week, what do you think?
Anyway, if you are planning to do this too, please let me know
