Revelation : I have a crush on . . .

I'm the kind of girl who easily fall in love with celebrity actors. LOL Flirt much? Hahahaha!
So i just wanted you to know that I have a big crush on Malcolm Freberg. Actually, he is not an actor, he is one of the survivor cast away of Survivor Philippines Season 25. The first time that I watched the show is when it was on it's 3rd episode. And it was like love at first site. Nyahahaha. When I saw him, I said to myself; " Oh my, he's cute. I like him He's my bet. He is going to win the game". So para makarelate kayo here si Malcolm:

Guy who has long blonde curly hair. Matikas.Matipuno. Matangkad, in short Yummy! (Evil laugh). I don't know, but long hair guys always attract me (except for those dugyot type). I like the way he talks, he speaks, and of course when he smile. I really love how he plays on Survivor, his sense of humour, strategies and effort to keep his alliance with Final 4. I saw from the previous episodes that he has been the asset of the tribe where he belongs to, because he contributes  a big role in winning every challenges (he actually won his first Immunity challenge on recent episode, thankfully! ). Yet, a very competitive player on the game.

Aww, the hair. It sways! lol :D

I am also one of those happy and proud Filipinos who really enjoy watching the Survivor because Season 25 was filmed at our very own Caramoan, Camarines Sur. And also the next season will be somewhere in Philippines too. You can also check Survivor_Wiki to know more of the details.

Dahil di ko naman siya masyadong crush, ginamit ko lang naman yung picture nya as my facebook cover photo.Liked his facebook fan page and followed him on twitter. I post a tweet everyday which is related to him. I always make sure that I will be the only one who holds the remote control every Thursday evening so nobody can change the challenge from 9pm-10pm ( Jack TV).

Just for the benefit of Survivor Fans, here's some information about Malcolm Freberg:

Name (Age): Malcolm Freberg (25)
Tribe Designation: Matsing
Current Residence: Hermosa Beach, Calif.
Occupation: Bartender
Personal Claim to Fame: In college, I helped to organize and run a program that paired varsity athletes with underprivileged children in a free-to-join sports league. It still exists today.
Inspiration in Life: O.J. Simpson before the legal drama. When he was a kid, he had rickets. For his birthday, when he was still young, his father took him to a signing to meet Jim Brown and O.J. hobbled right up to him and told him he was going to break all his records which he eventually did. I’m a sucker for underdog stories.
Hobbies: Exercising, writing/reading and partying.
Pet Peeves: Dumb people.
3 Words to Describe You: Charming, brilliant and cocky.
If You Could Have 3 Things on The Island What Would They Be and Why?
1) Hair ties – I can’t see anything without them.
2) Book of puzzles – Your mind is a muscle and needs to be kept in shape.
3) Whiskey – to unwind after a hard day of challenge domination and competitor manipulation.
SURVIVOR Contestant You Are Most Like: I think I will play most like Russell. You can control and rule with an iron first. You just have to be clever enough for them to thank you for it in the end. I’ll run the show from day 1 until I’m handed an oversized check with my name on it.
Reason for Being on SURVIVOR: I’ve been watching Survivor since I was 12 years old. Some kids grow up watching baseball on TV and dream of getting their chance to play in the big leagues. I grew up watching and dreaming about playing Survivor.
Why You Think You’ll “Survive” SURVIVOR: I’m smart, I’m athletic and I’m nice to look at.
Why You Think You Will Be the Sole SURVIVOR: There’s no reason to play the game if you’re not playing to win. I’m not trying to see ‘if I have what it takes’ or ‘how far I can make it.’ The best thing I have going for me is my single-mindedness to be the champion.

He is now on the F5, and I am actually rooting for him and Denise since the first day that I watched Survivor Philippines. I heard a lot of rumors that he will not be the Ultimate Survivor, but whoever it will gonna be, for me it's Malcolm who really deserves to win. But I will still be happy if it will be Denise :) Aw, if I'm only near at Hermosa Beach CA, I will definitely make way to see this guy. LOL.
"Hmmm, seriously?"

And that's it.
How bout you guys, who is your celebrity crush?
Share it to me through  your comments.
 Really excited to read it!

My brace Journey : Activation

My Brace Journey : 31st Day, Activation

So, I already shared with you my first 30th day of having braces and it was actually okay. Doesn't hurt me that much nor makes me feel so uncomfortable. I am pretty much confident that during my activation (replacement of straight wire) it will not hurt too. Am I wrong? Well, before I have my braces, I've been reading a lot of experiences and most of them suffered from pain during every adjustments, that's why taking pain killers is needed. But some said the pain is tolerable. so if you have high pain tolerance, you don't have to take pain killers. So, I tell myself "Siguro di ko na kailangan ng pain killers. Masyado lang sigurong mababa yung pain tolerance nila". Aha, confident ang lola mo!

Then lat Saturday, December 1, that's my 31st day of having braces and my activation. Maybe some of you is not familiar with the term "activation", because Dentists have different procedures. During my installation of braces, my dentist put a temporary thin wire instead of the traditional arch wire. so during my activation, the thin wire which comes in an "8" figure has been removed and replace with the Round Arch wire.

" Round wires are obviously round in cross-section. Rectangular wires can be square or rectangular in cross section.
In the beginning stages of treatment, round wires are typically used to level and align the teeth. This is because when considering arch wires made from identical materials, round wires are more elastic and so the orthodontist will be able to engage all your teeth into the wire without popping off brackets. If he uses a wire that is too stiff and tries to tie the arch wire to a really crooked tooth, the wire will put too much pressure on the bracket, and the bracket may break off from the tooth." -

While the arch wire is being installed, I felt a little bit of tightness on my teeth  that I didn't feel when the thin wire was installed. The Elastic Ligature (round bands) were also replaced. And I went for "Violet". I don't know if it looks nice than the Turqoise, I just wanted to try all of the colors within the year.

Elastic Ligature:These little rings, or colored modules, are used to attach the archwire to the brackets. There are plenty of colors to choose from including clear rings.

So here's how it looks like:
As you can see, my main problem is my front tooth, it is protruded. So my dentist told me that the treatment will just be within a year.

Sorry guys for the gross teeth, I really have yellowish teeth e. :(

After the activation, It feels good pa rin though there's a tightness on my teeth. The first 2 hours was just "easy". But then on the 3rd hour and beyond, I started to feel the pain. It's getting worse. Oh no! Eto na yata yung sinasabi nilang "crazy feeling". It was almost like nerve wracking pain! When I make a tight bite, firmly close my mouth, my teeth hurts. It's kinda itchy at the same time. "This is it! Ang feeling ay kay sakit!". Yung pain na nakakainit ng ulo. Nakakabwiset. Pero partida, while on my pain, I am actually formatting a pc (sideline! hahaha). Pero it doesn't stop me from eating. I still eat rice and chicken, but no biting. "Hinihimay himay ko muna yung ulam". During that night, natiis kong hindi uminom ng pain killer. But on the next day, it hurts pa rin. So I asked my brother to buy me Dolphenal. I took it before I sleep, and voila! When I woke up, there is only minimal pain. Effective! So today is my 4th day upon activation (35th day of wearing braces) and still there is a bit iof pain when I bump my lower teeth on my upper teeth. Tama ang sabi nila. During the first 2-3 days masakit sya, pero it will gradually change and the pain will slowly disappears.
My next visit will be on the end of the month which is on December 31st. I'll update yolu again guys on my second adjustment! Mabuhay ang may mga braces! At Welcome sa "Alambre World" sa mga newbies na kakakabit lang din ng braces nila! Tiis Ganda!

 First 30 days.

As of now, December 10,2012 I don't feel any pain na :)

Thanks for reading guys!

Do you have any suggestion for the color of Elatic Ligature?
Let me hear through your comments!

Love you guys!

Review : Stila Waterproof Eyeliner in Stargazer

First of all, I would to sincerely apologize to Ms. Suyen for not posting this review as soon as I received this. But of course, I wanted to thank her for being so kind and understanding. And to all of you guys, I told ya last 2 weeks that I'll be posting this review just after I finished the lipstick reviews, but it took me so long to post this because I am not able to buy new camera. Thankfully, last night, my "kakarag-karag" camera works again and I grab the opportunity to take picture of this product so I can finally state my thought and write my review about it.

Anyway, you all know that I am a thrifty person, so I don't usually buy eyeliner which will cost me more than 100 pesos. But I still have the curiosity and "lust" on expensive brands like Urban Decay, Stila, MAC and etc. Fortunately, I had the chance to try one of the amazing product from STILA.

As I mentioned on this post, I was chosen as the "Guest Blogger" of House of Flair for the month of November. So, HOF immediately sent this product to me the day after it announced the blogger of the month:

If there is one thing that I cannot forget in my daily routine, that is "Eyeliner". Why? Because I don't have the tantalizing eyes. I have chinky and boring eyes, so eyeliner is,well my Hero. It brightens up my eyes and needless to say, it truly change my look. I feel confident and pretty "wink*wink*" with eyeliner and bold lipstick! But upon using cheap eyeliners in the market, honestly, I haven't met the perfect one. Does Stila eyeliner  will win my heart despite of being an imported product? Keep on reading below and see what's special about this eyeliner.

Here is Stila Smudge Proof Waterproof Eyeliner. This is actually comes in a set called "Seeing Stars Smudge Stick Set" for $32 but you can buy it individually at House of Flair. It comes with 5 different colors:
  • stargazer (black with gold and silver pearl)
  • angelfish (metallic pewter)
  • tetra (deep shimmery purple)
  • moray (golden olive shimmer)
  • oscar fish (warm brown with gold pearl)

It is said to be "perfect for any day or evening holiday look, waterproof and long-wearing shade in a propel pencil won’t smudge, budge or fade through holiday cheer or seasonal weather."

Hmm, sounds promising right? Let's see later on my swatch test if it really is smudge and water proof.

The product information was labeled on the eyeliner.

Ingredients: Isododecane, Cyclopentasiloxane, PEG/PPG-19/19 Dimethicone, Synthetic Wax, Hydrogenated Polydicyclopentadiene, Nylon-12, C20-40 Alcohols, Perfluorononyl Dimethicone, Silica, Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate, Calcium Sodium Borosilicate, Polyglyceryl-4 Diisostearate/Polyhydroxystearate/Sebacate, Polyethylene, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-Di-T-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Tocopherol, Tin Oxide, May Contain (+/-) Mica, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Bronze Powder (CI 77400), Ferric Ferrocyanide (CI 77510), Chromium Oxide Greens (CI 77288), Aluminum Powder (CI 77000), Ultramarines (CI 77007), Carmine (CI 75470).

I really love the pencil packaging, it also has glitters on which is also of the same glitters on the actual product. The pencil itself looks sosy. hehe
It is a retractable pencil so it's easier for me to control the product.

So here's the swatches on my skin:

I just lightly swatch the liner on my skin, so you can see how pigmented the liner is.

On macro shot, you can see the gold and silver shimmers. But if you don't like shimmers, fret not because it doesn't actually shows when applied on eyelids.

The moment of truth, here is the water test:

Take note that I hardly rubbed the eyeliner to see how smudge proof it is. See the pictures below and let it do the talking:

As you can see, my skin turns red, it only shows that I truly rubbed my skin hard! Lol! :D

And again, I put my arm under running water and rubbed it until 20 rubbed.

Tortured arm? lol. Grabe, it is really hard to remove. So, are you convince that this is really waterproof and smudge proof? If you aren't convinced yet, then here's another picture:

I applied this on the said time. After 9 hours at the office, I ate dinner and haven't washed my face yet, here it is on:

*10:13 PM

Almost 14 hours had been passed and you can see that the eyeliner is still on my eyelid with just minimal fading. And yes, fyi I have oily face and eyelids. It looks like it will stay good even after 20 hours!

Yes! I still recommend this product despite of it's availability. I know it will cost you $32 if you will buy this on Stila as set, but don't be sad because you can buy this at House of Flair in super affordable price and individually. And also, I really like the product not because it was given to me free, but the real thing is that it is one of the best eyeliner I ever had. I am really snob when it comes to expensive makeup but shelling out P400+ for this eyeliner is really worth it.

Do you want to try this eyeliner? Or would you like to order imported makeup or anything from the US but afraid of paying "High Shipping Fee's"? Oh, I felt the same way too, but fret not because House of Flair is to the rescue! (I sound corny, sorry!).

You can pre-order anything from the US (except for food and electronics) like imported cosmetics (UD,Stila,Nyx,MAC and everything else) books, magazines, collector's or limited items (i.e. Hello Kitty products), shoes, bags, clothes, home items (such as kitchen utensils & candles) children's toys etc.

As a matter of fact, House of Flair ships all orders for free nationwide at no minimum order amount. Actually, I already tried it to myself, you can read my experience on "My First US online shopping through House of Flair HERE. Believe me, House of Flair is a trusted online store, plus Ms.Suyen (the person behind HOF) is very approachable and kind. I already tested it since I am very "makulit" upon my first transaction with her, but she is very patient in answering all of my queries.

OOTD : Torn between Red and orange + FOTD

The last time I posted an outfit of the day post was last July?? (hindi pa sure haha). Well, so to cut off the long hiatus of not posting an OOTD post, I am going to post a new one now! Haha. This is my outfit that I wore during our District Convention at Novaliches, Quezon City. It was a christian meeting so of course we need to dress modestly. I saved some of the clothes that I bought last September from House of Flair. I also wore some old clothes of mine and re-use a skirt from my mom's closet.

We didn't arrive early, so I am very shy to pose on pictures with just myself so sorry if I have accompany in these pictures:

Warning : Picture Heavy

Top : FULL TILT Open Knit  Sweater ($7.97 or P320.00)
Bottom :  Quinta Classe (P299.00)
Shoes : Pre-loved Maryjane Boots (P200.00)

I didn't really think of pairing this together, mom suggested the skirt to pair with the sweater.

This Maryjane boots that I bought from Ms.Liz is very comfortable, I can even run with this 3.5 inches boots.

DIY earrings from old necklace.

And of course an FOTD:

 This photo was taken 5:55am.
