The Bride's Nail

Hi guys, how's your day? Mine was a bit busy. I was at the field. Anyway, here's the second post for my "nail-art week".

This is inspired by "Brides". We all know that Wedding Day is yet, the most special and and unforgettable day in a woman's life. From head to toe we want to be presentable but of course not overdone. So, here's a nail-art inspiration that a "bride" can try. This is simple yet elegant to wear.

Product Used:
Bobbie in Aqua
Caronia in White Satin
Caronia Colorless

How to do this:
First, do a french tip using Bobbie in Aqua.
(Reapply if needed). Wait until it dries.
Using Caronia or any white nail polish, make a five small dots forming a flower.
Run a needle on each dot, from outside to inside to make a petal.
Do it on the rest of your nails.
Let it dry, then apply top coat.

And that's it! Voila.

Muka ng chala ang nails mo!

That's all for now.

Thanks for reading my blog!

I nailed it 11: Not so Perfect Water Marbling.

Okay, I already made up my mind. Thou this post isn't interesting at all, I still wanted to share to you guys my "not-so-successful water marbling".

OKAY, CLOSE YOUR BROWSER NOW IF THIS PICTURE LOOKS GROSS TO YOU. LOL

I've already tried this not just once, or twice but thrice! And still, it wasn't successful, gonna cry now! lolz!

I saw this water marbling on you tube last year, and already said to myself that one day, I'll be making my own version. But every time that I am trying to do it, I always FAIL.

Wanna know why?  here's the photos.

at first, it looks okay pa
done with my left hand
after removing the excess nail-polish, here's the finished nail-art

haha parang abstract lang!

not so perfect :(

See? Gross isn't it?

Haha. naiinis ako. Di ko malaman kung anong mali. If yung water ba or yung nail polishes.

Pero here's the tips when you are about to make this water marbling ek-ek!

1. Make it sure that your nail polishes are new. Why? Because if you use the old ones, even if you drop some acetone on it, still, hindi well distributed yung nail polish sa water, in short, mamumuo lang sila. Believe me dear!

Caronia On the go 27.00, Sassy in Black Magic 17.00 & Klik in Navy Blue 17.00

2. The water temperature has a big contribution to this nail-art. Make it sure that the water  is NOT COLD, nor HOT, just WARM. Period!

3. Apply Petroleum Jelly or 'Scotch Tape' on the skin that surrounds your nails (excess nail polish were hard to move if you will not apply the things mentioned earlier before you dip your nails onto the water).

4. Turn off your electric fan!
lol...

5. Have PATIENCE when doing this thing.
this is moi! headache anyone???!

And there you have it,My not-so-professional tips, but it will surely help you to come up with a neat and beautiful Water Marbling. I guess using EXPENSIVE nail polishes here is better but still you can use CARONIA or BOBBIE if you are looking for an affordable one, just make it sure that they are newly bought. Mas easy i-maneuver kapag bago yung nailpolishes.

So that's it! Thank you for reading this post. I really appreciate it kahit na panget yung nakita nyo. hehe Salamat dearest! Hey hun, if you are successful in such thing, please do leave a comment so I can visit your blog and maybe I can find tips from you and become successful in making this SOON. Balang araw luluhod din ang mga tala. hehehe

Fleur

Hi lovelies! It's been a month since the last time that I posted here a NOTW. So, to cut the long hiatus, here it is!

On Nails:
Caronia: On the go P27.00 (Used as base)
Klik: Navy Blue P17.00 (flowers)
OMG: Mojito P20+ (Dots)
Rain: Colorless (Top coat)

Too much flash! Still using phone camera here. Sorry :(

Fur from my dog. hihi

I came up with this large blue flowers. I am not in the mood to do a fabulous design that's why I always ended on this kind of nail-art.

I also tried the Water marbling, but err! It didn't work! Some of the nail polishes that I used was already thick and incapable of spreading on water. But I still have hope, that someday I will be able to do the Water Marbling! I will! I will! I will! LOL

So that's it! If you wanted to see other designs, you can check it on the Labels, on the right corner of this blog, labeled "I nailed it".

*I am not professional in making nail-art design, so If you have any criticism, Go! Comment it below coz' I am ready for it! :D

Have a nice day!

Sweet Nails

with laki nguso :D
Here's my NOTW :)

I entitled it 'Sweet Nails' because I know you will surely agree that the combination of nail polishes looks like candies. I even imagining those designs on cakes. hehe

More pictures below:
I was planning to cut my nails, and make it a little shorter, but I decided not to,because I don't have nail pile, it's hard to make the tips smooth w/o it.

Here's the closer look.

My right hand.
And these are the nail polishes that I used they are so cheap so nothing to worry di to nakakabutas ng bulsa :D, to come up with this cute nail art design, here's how:
From Left - Right: Sassy in Aquamarine, OMG in Mojito, Caronia in Sweet Surprise, Sassy in Sparkling Gold,& Sassy Colorless.
P18.50 pesos only :)

1. Apply one coat of Aquamarine on your nails. One coat is enough, we want to have a very light nails since it is frosted.
Wait until it dries a bit. A minute is enough.

A little bit of messy, mejo matagal na kasi to'. P27.00 for 10ML

2. Next, use the OMG in Mojito and do the traditional french nails. I usually do mine vertically, following the grown up nails of mine. One coat is enough since this nail polish is a bit creamy and thick. Wait until it dries, approximately 3 minutes on both hands.

Caronia, it's been my HG nail polish P30.00

3. Third, Use any matte and bright nail polish for our flowers.
Simple tip: To come up with cute flowers, use your dotter (if you have one) or a pointed tool like ballpen, toothpick or aspile. Use your dotter of choice, dip it on to the  nail polish and make 5 dots on your nails. After doing it on both hands, use a pointed tool again like needle or the pusher (cuticle pusher) and ran it through the dots inward.
Wait for another 2 minutes until it dries.

P 18.50 pesos only!

4. The fourth step, use a sparkling or glittering nail polish for our dewy dots. Just do it randomly. Better to use a silver one rather this one. This is too light kasi so you can barely see the dew drops on my nails.

P17.50

5. And finally, apply your top coat!  And voila! You're done with 5 simple steps!

** Remember, you don't need to be a professional to achieve certain nail art designs, all you have to do is a wide imagination and practice. Practice makes permanent! Just keep on practicing.

Hope you like it!
Thanks for reading sweety!
Enjoy the vacation!

Jenny
