Caite Couple Watch

BF and I love watches. We've been seeing a lot of couple watches online, but when we saw "Caite" (kai-tee), an affordable brand of watches (not really sure but internet says it's from Japan), we went to nearest mall where it was available, and fortunately, when we went there, Caite has 20% discount on watches if you buy 2 pairs. Steal!!!

Only few pairs were available that time so we ended up buying this pair:

 It's a stainless watch, water resistant, quartz movement with chronograph for design purposes only.

I love their packaging, hindi tinipid, it has its own box and watch pillow. There is no manual included in the box, since this kind of watch doesn't need an instruction anyway.

The watch is lightweight, but very prone to scratches. The stainless they use was not high quality, the edges were bit sharp. These watches look expensive upon first look.

The saleslady adjusted the bracelet to fit our wrist.  

It still looks decent and not cheapipay right? 

Would you believe that this cost P369.99/each? Plus we got 20% of the total price! Swak na swak to para sa mga students!

We decided to wear this during special occasions. It might get a lot of scratches if we wear this everytime. So, have you seen or bought watch from this brand?

Casio Couple Watch: A178 Gold and Silver

I love makeup, but I also have affection with accessories like watches. Last year we bought couple watch (which doesn't look alike) from Zalora, but since we wanted watches that will suit on formal attire, we decided to buy last January a pair of digital watches from Keeperph via instagram.

These watches are actually unisex. Mine is gold and silver for le bf.

Gold is just plated. Both are shiny and lightweight. You won't have hard time adjusting the bracelets because you can adjust it by yourself with the help of a fork :P

It has crystal display, dual time, alarm chrono and 10 year battery. Of course it is made of stainless steel and water resistant.

The only thing that I don't like with these watches is that, it isn't scratch proof. After wearing it for 2 days I already seen a lot of small scratches around it's display, but it isn't that noticeable. I still love it because it can add elegance to whatever you wear.

44 Piece Professional Makeup Palette

I sometimes offer makeup service for my friends and cousins. Last year I missed two clients because I declined to have their makeup done, why? Because of lack of makeup tools. So I decided to collect makeup palettes this year so whenever someone ask for my makeup service I am 100% ready and available.

I've been eyeing  these 3 online shops which sells makeup palettes, but since I am a "thrifty person" (hence the name of this blog) I compare the prices of their products and find out that the makeup palettes are all the same, except that the 2 online shops only change or personalized the palette to have their online shops name printed on the palette. And Glittergirl Shop offers the cheapest price so I did my first purchase of this 44 piece pro makeup palette to them.

Dirty little secret : I find out that this palette is Singapore authentic or what we all know a replica. The palette that I got from glittergirl shop has "MAC" label on it, but I know that it wasn't authentic. I wasn't actually inform that the product was MAC replica because I have seen the same palette from the 2 online shops which makes me think that it was just a non-brand makeup that they import and have their online shop name printed on the palettes. So yeah, the makeup palette that you will see below is a mac replica, it was actually just the same with makeup palette that was being sold by the other 2 online shops.

But nonetheless, I don't have regrets in buying this palette, because I really need this wide selection of colors i doing makeup look.

Here's how it looks like:

Upper Portion compose of lipsticks and concealers. It's detachable.

Lower portion of the palette compose of eyeshadows, blushes and contour/highlight.

The palette has 16 lipsticks - 6 cream concealers - 16 eyeshadows (matte and shimmery)  - 3 blushes - and 3 contouring/highlighting powders.

Youcan detache the first palette and put it at the back of the palette's lid.

Lipsticks 1-8

Lipsticks 9-16

Lipsticks are not matte, some are very pigmented and some are just  so-so lippies. I love using the red shades and the peachy shades perfect for "young-looking" makeup. The lipstick usually stays on for about 2-3 hours.

Cream Concealers

Cream Concealers - I am glad that it contains a lot of concealers. It is very important to have a wide selection of colors since your client doesn't have the same skin tones. 

Eyeshadows 1-8

Eyeshadows 9-16

Eyeshadows - Some were shimmery and some are matte. Dark colors are very pigmented. It has fall out but eyeshadow primer will surely solve this dilemma!

Blushes and Contouring powders

Blush - I love the blushes from this palette, they are pigmented. I only wish they add coral-ish shade!

Contour/Highlight powder - It isn't that pigmented but I think it's good enough since contour and highlight should be really just minimal. It's blendable and buildable.

You might not like the artificial scent of the palette but for it's price I still love this palette! I will make a saparated post for the swatches of this palette, so stay tuned!

WET N WILD MEGALAST LIPSTICKS

I purchased these lipsticks last year and ngayon lang ako makakapagpost about it. Well, by the way I really wanted to try these lipsticks since a lot of bloggers have been raving about it, so instead of buying a MAC lipstick I opted for 5 pieces of wet n wild matte lipsticks. I bought different shades, since It is not reasonable for me to buy lipsticks with almost the same shade, I mean what's the purpose? So here are the 5 shades that I got from Makeupholics:

I hope my Zenfone5 captures the true colors of these lipsticks, I haven't took shots from my digital camera, but I will make sure to provide more pictures soon .

I didn't have the chance to swatch the Cinnamon Spice because it was my friend's lippy. So here's the swatch of the lipstick on my arm. I have yellow-ish + olive-ish skintone.

My friend says that the Cinnamon Spice is almost similar to cherrybomb except it has brown undertone while the latter has red.

Some girls hate the formulation. So here's my take. The lipstick has matte formula so it will help to stay the color on your lips. But if your lips are prone to drying and chapping, you really have to moisturize first or exfoliate prior applying this.

Pigmentation: It's amazing! You won't get the same pigmentation from local lipstick brands. They are true to the colors as what you can see in the tube. It's opaque and it offers different shades from pink - red - plum.

Scent :  It seems like not all the lipstick has the same scent, the wine room smells like saliva (ew!) same with my wet n wild lip liners, but the other has candy like scent. I don't know but here is my take, the wineroom is the most easiest shade to apply and the glidiest lipsick among the 5 shades. I think the "thing" that they put to make it creamy is the one that makes it smells like that. I don't know, comment below if you have the same observation.

Formulation : Just like what  I said earlier, it has matte finish, but some of the shades glides on better like the wineroom, cherrybomb and spotlight red, I mean they are more creamy and doesn't have streaks or whatsoever unlike the bright shades like the purty persimmon and don't blink pink. It will dry your lips after 2-3 hours but for wineroom it looks okay, but if you will apply lip balm over your lips, the chapping will somehow disappear or becomes minimal. Still, better than Ever Bilena's matte lipsticks.

Staying Power : Magaling! They last for 4 hours with minimal fading specially when you eat. It isn't transfer proof nor smudge proof but they last longer than other lipsticks brand we have here in the Philippines.

Packaging : Well "madaling masira". You can't complain daw kasi it's cheap lang talaga sa U.S.

So overall, the only thing that I hate about these lipsticks is that the dryness and the packaging. But I still use them everday. Specially the wineroom. It is best for work or the thing called "MLBB". I will post next time with additional pictures "me" wearing the lipstick. So stay tune.

My thoughts on Casio watches:
Both watches are very lightweight. 
The straps are made in plastic which is not prone to dirt.
You will not worry that it will get wet every time you wash your hands since it's water resistant. 
I also love how it looks when worn. 
The size is perfect for me and of course the color is very feminine 
but can be incorporate with semi formal outfits.
The Casio HDD has matte finish so it's perfect for men.
Both watches are very easy to adjust.
Both look sturdy.
I only paid P2,190.00 pesos for the two watches + free shipping.

So yeah, I recommending Zalora if you are lazy to go to malls and shop for your new watches. I compared Zalora price to other online shops and I got the super sulit deal with it because it offers Free Shipping, Cash on Delivery and of course a Free Return or Exchange if you aren't satisfied with your purchase. And most specially it is a very TRUSTED online shop.

Review on bags: All of the bags looks so expensive. Specially the pink doctors bag, it is thick and you very spacious. Also the black and gray checkered satchel looks elegant. I've been using it as my working bag since A4 docs can fit inside and it is also spacious. The other one (black and blue mini satchel) is quite spacious too, I can put my foldable umbrella inside and my makeup kit. It also has 2 compartment outside which is a nice fit for your cellphone and wallet. I am very much impressed with the quality of the bags.

First 2014 Online Haul : Golddot

Welcome back to me! Haha. Haven't been blogging since December last year. Anyways, thank you to those who keep on coming back to this blog even though there's no new post. So to cut that long hiatus, I am now sharing with you my first online haul for this year.

You know how much I love shoes. As in! So when Gold dot announced that they will be having an annual sale, I immediately wait until 12nn to visit the site and buy some shoes. You know that I am a sucker of sale (kuripot much!). So here's what I've got:

Unfortunately, the sizes were too small for my feet, so I gave these 2 pairs to mom and they fits perfectly since mom has 4.5 size of feet. (Why so liit)

I really love this unique design from Gold dot. The plastic strap is so simple yet it looks so elegant when worn. It is also very lightweight. Everytime mom wears this pair, a lot of her friends complement the shoes because they are so cute! 2 thumbs up to the genius designers of Gold Dot shoes.

The other one is this red flats. They are light weight too and the color is perfect. Mom use this to Christian meetings too.

I only paid P500 for the 2 pairs and P80.00 for the shipping fee. They arrived after a day. What a fast transaction, isn't it? Thank you Gold Dot! Will definitely purchase again (basta Sale!) hehe.
