Torturing my hair from blow drying, hair coloring, rebonding and ironing resulted me into a coarse, frizzy and dry hair. Yes second to my oily-acne-prone-sensitive face problem is my hair. I used to have curly and dry hair before so I decided to rebonded my hair early this month. But even if it was rebonded, still my hair looks dry pa rin.
That's why I am into hunt of good hair treatments like hot oil, conditioner and serum. As I am walking onto my journey (naks! ang lalim!) to hunt for the hair saviour, follow me guys and let's examine them one by one.
I am currently using the following:
Creamsilk Conditioner (Green)
White Rain Conditioner (Lavender)
Erth Origins Hot Oil Treatment (Apple)
Sunsilk Hair Leave-on (Straight Perfection)
As Part 1 of our Journey, let's review the Erth Origins Hot Oil Treatment in Apple.
also available in Coconut and Strawberry.
Cost : P99 (sale)
(Original price at P130?)
Where : Watson's
Content : 500 grams
It has a little bit of creamy consistensy with apple scent.
And of course green din ang color. Pero dapat di ba red din? Kasi may apple na red e' Ba't ba ko nangengealam?
My friend is raving about the Silk Secret, pero dahil mas mura and it contains almost twice of the SS', ito pa rin ang binili ko. hihihi
This is how the hot oil looks like
I usually scoop (yes with my bare hands!) half of my hand (approximately 1 table spoon). That amount is enough if you have thick and long hair. Or you might add more if you want.
Distribute it evenly on your wet or towel dried hair (after shampooing).
Massage Thoroughly.
Leave it for 30minutes (minimum) and cover your head with plastic shower cap for maximum absorption of the product.
Rinse and let your hair dry. This is how my hair looks like after:
I blow dried my hair in low temperature (warm air)
I experimented if my hair will stay smooth all day long. I traveled at Angono-Novaliches and Novaliches-Angono in a public utility vehicle and my hair haven't been washed for almost 24 hours and here's how it looks like:
And yes! It is still soft, smooth and manageable. I don't regularly wash my hair everyday, I wash it ever other day, but I always apply this hot oil treatment whenever I wash my hair and even when I skipped washing my hair for 3 days (because I am sick today) still my hair is smooth.
What the GOOD thing about the product?
- Affordable, swak sa budget ni Inday!
- The tub is full of product, 500 gm. is good for you for 1-2 months.
- Non-sticky.
- Easy to use.
- Will not cause oiliness to your scalp or to your hair.
- Makes your hair soft and more manageable.
What is MISSING on the product?
- Base on my omy observation, as I am using this for a month now, the apple scent did not lingers (aha lumilingers) on my hair
- Does not make my hair shiny
- The product itself is not too formulated. Parang malabnaw siya.
Do I still RECOMMEND this to others?
And that's the part 1 of our Hair Saviour Journey! So I am giving the Erth Origins Hot Oil Treatment a "PAK". Stay tuned guys for my next hunt , the Part 2 is the White Rain Conditioner in Lavender.
Thanks for reading, til' our next journey! (haha muntanga lang no?).
Have a happy weekend!
Love,
JENNY

- YES, I still recommend this to everyone. Masyado lang akong demanding o kaya masyado lang talagang dry yung hair ko kaya ko nasabi yung nasa MISSING ek-ek. hehe Kidding aside, I DO! It's heap, so your 99 bucks is still worth it. And what I love about this product is that it does not break me out and it is not sticky on hair. Unlike the other hot oil treatment na natry ko before once you run your hand on your hair parang biglang magmomoisturize yung hands mo kasi nagtransfer na don yung product. So ayun. But I am not going to buy this again since I wanted to try Lory's and Silk secret.
