WET N WILD MEGALAST LIPSTICKS

I purchased these lipsticks last year and ngayon lang ako makakapagpost about it. Well, by the way I really wanted to try these lipsticks since a lot of bloggers have been raving about it, so instead of buying a MAC lipstick I opted for 5 pieces of wet n wild matte lipsticks. I bought different shades, since It is not reasonable for me to buy lipsticks with almost the same shade, I mean what's the purpose? So here are the 5 shades that I got from Makeupholics:

I hope my Zenfone5 captures the true colors of these lipsticks, I haven't took shots from my digital camera, but I will make sure to provide more pictures soon .

I didn't have the chance to swatch the Cinnamon Spice because it was my friend's lippy. So here's the swatch of the lipstick on my arm. I have yellow-ish + olive-ish skintone.

My friend says that the Cinnamon Spice is almost similar to cherrybomb except it has brown undertone while the latter has red.

Some girls hate the formulation. So here's my take. The lipstick has matte formula so it will help to stay the color on your lips. But if your lips are prone to drying and chapping, you really have to moisturize first or exfoliate prior applying this.

Pigmentation: It's amazing! You won't get the same pigmentation from local lipstick brands. They are true to the colors as what you can see in the tube. It's opaque and it offers different shades from pink - red - plum.

Scent :  It seems like not all the lipstick has the same scent, the wine room smells like saliva (ew!) same with my wet n wild lip liners, but the other has candy like scent. I don't know but here is my take, the wineroom is the most easiest shade to apply and the glidiest lipsick among the 5 shades. I think the "thing" that they put to make it creamy is the one that makes it smells like that. I don't know, comment below if you have the same observation.

Formulation : Just like what  I said earlier, it has matte finish, but some of the shades glides on better like the wineroom, cherrybomb and spotlight red, I mean they are more creamy and doesn't have streaks or whatsoever unlike the bright shades like the purty persimmon and don't blink pink. It will dry your lips after 2-3 hours but for wineroom it looks okay, but if you will apply lip balm over your lips, the chapping will somehow disappear or becomes minimal. Still, better than Ever Bilena's matte lipsticks.

Staying Power : Magaling! They last for 4 hours with minimal fading specially when you eat. It isn't transfer proof nor smudge proof but they last longer than other lipsticks brand we have here in the Philippines.

Packaging : Well "madaling masira". You can't complain daw kasi it's cheap lang talaga sa U.S.

So overall, the only thing that I hate about these lipsticks is that the dryness and the packaging. But I still use them everday. Specially the wineroom. It is best for work or the thing called "MLBB". I will post next time with additional pictures "me" wearing the lipstick. So stay tune.

Packaging wise. As you can see, the bottle has a pump so it's easier for you to control the product. The bottle is made up of plastic and glass which is not that heavy compared to Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation.

As you can see there the foundation has micro shimmers, but fret not because it doesn't look obvious upon application.

Not really sure if you will benefit all its "proven results" because I stop using this. The shade didn't match my skin tone and the formulation is not compatible with my skin condition which is "Oily". I think this one is good for women who are ages 30 and up. Those who has dry skin.

Affordable Scents Below 500 pesos!

Hi guys! I know I haven't posted here on my blog for so long, so since something pushes me to write again I decided to recommend something for you. I know not all of us can afford those expensive perfumes specially it is a must for this scorching hot season we have here in our country. Here are some of the perfumes  that I personally like and maybe you would like too!

Bath and Body Works in Sweet Pea

- I was able to try this scent last year and bought it online together with VS Love Spell (which I don't like, so I won't recommend it), I got it for only P280.00 (old packaging) but this usually retails for P400-500 pesos at Watsons or online. I love its sweet but not overwhelming scent. This one suits students and office girls who want to smell nice and girly with just the right amount of sweetness!

Body Fantasies in Fresh White Musk

- A friend sent me this and it was love at first spray. I thought it would be like just the cheap body spray that you can buy on department store since this brand is not that famous, but I really love its scent. It is cottony and musky. Best for those who don't like sweet scent. This stays long. Mag-aamoy mayaman ka! Hehe yun bang it lingers on your nose. I am having hard time looking for this body spray, fortunately I saw it in Watson's near us for only P389.00 only for 236ml which will last for 3 months!

ZenZest Impression of D&G Light Blue

- Le bf loves Zen Zest so I tried it and after smelling their impressions of expensive perfumes, I decided to get the D&G light blue. I don't have any idea how does the original one smells like but I love the Zenzest impression of the said brand because it gives you the fresh powdery scent (I'm not really good in describing scent hehe). I've emptied 2 bottles of this and will surely purchase again!

ZenZest Vanilla Ice Cream

- I am a fan of vanilla scents! So this one is a must try. Nakakagutom! This one is perfect for summer no hilo effect sa byahe! You can't stop smelling your clothes or your wrist once you spray it on. The only downside is that, the scent doesn't stay long, so you have to spray again after 2-3 hours. But still, I love and recommending this!
