Minute to Win it on Nivea Express Raider!

Hi guys! I am now officially back to blogging! March has been a good month for me. Though it was a busy month and the sudden change on weather, which I truly hate, there are some reasons why I still enjoy it. Just a week ago, I received a message and call from Nivea Philippines representative. I was chosen as one of the participants to Nivea Express Raid promo on facebook. I didn't expect that I will be chosen because I was thinking that my entry might get invalid because my receipt that I scanned and sent to them was almost torn apart and the print was fading. But then, it is still VALID! Wow! I've been dreaming to join that promo, I saw some of the bloggers who won the challenge.

So yesterday, at Uniqlo Mall of Asia branch, the raid was held. I need to absent to work because the raid was held Thursday. I accompanied my brother.

How the game is played? Here's how:

 We will be given 60 seconds to shop clothes that worth 24,000.00. But it's not that easy because of the Secret Task: "We need to shop summer wear wherein tops and bottoms should match. Total number of tops should be equivalent to total number of bottoms!" Dang! I thought it was easy but the Uniqlo is very huge shop! Just by transferring into another section will take 5 seconds. And when your nervous, it is really difficult!

 Uniqlo has wide range of summer clothings. The clothes are so expensive for me so it was my very first time to visit the shop through Nivea! 

And the game started, look at me caught on the act!

I only got few items, I am really bank and don't know what to pick. We need to remember the secret task, failure to do so, might cause me to lose.

Here is Klarisse, grabe di ko maisip na kaya nya yan in 1 minute!

During the first round, I think Klarisse got the most number of clothes and me thinks that she exceed the 24k limit.

We actually need to repeat the challenge. Because after they check our items, they found out that no one got the secret task. One almost got it but she mismatch one top. Hmmm, they also told us that the one who got the nearest chance to win was very fashionable on the clothes that she picked. I wonder who she is? They didn't announce it, but me think that it was me. Kapal lang? hehehe

So after repeating the challenge, finally, the winner has been announced. And she is . . . . .

 But of course, Nivea and Uniqlo doesn't want us to go home with empty handed. The consolation prize to 4 girls were P2,000 gift certificate from Uniqlo.

Though I didn't win, I still enjoy the challenge. It was fun and super heart pumping! I wanna join again!

Thrifty Finds:Camera at super low price!

Okay, okay, I asked you guys on my recent post if I should come back or not. I only received 3 answers until today, but I think those who commented gave me reasons to come back. I really appreciate the kind words and the support Rae, Clai, Ile, Ate Sha and Arra. You guys are the best! That's why I decided to come back and give you again amazing but cheap products that you too will surely love! I have tried a lot of products recently, I emptied a lot of bottles and will share with you my thoughts about it, from toner, facial wash, lotion and of course makeup!

But before I proceed to my regular posting  I would like to share with you this super amazing Online Shop where I got my camera. Gosh, it took me almost a year using the defective Canon powershot a480 that mom and I bought last 2009 just for the sake of blogging. That's why I decided to save money so I can buy new camera.

I was searching online (ebay.ph and sulit.com.ph), reading a lot of camera reviews. I was about to get the Canon A2300, or Samsung ST65, but then when I saw "JEPTALL" shop at ebay, having his "ON SALE" products, and saw this Samsung DV300F which cost just a bit higher than the two that I mentioned earlier, I fell inlove with it because it has front lcd. It was such a pain in the ass when you can't see if your face was captured correctly specially when you are reviewing foundations or whatsoevah in regular camera's. It also has wi-fi so you can share your photos inpronto!

With regards to my experience with Jeptall, I was really surprised because it's my first time to buy gadget online. I am really careful when it comes to buying online, "mahirap na mascam". But Jeptall is a trusted seller, if I'm not mistaken since 2005. I badly need the camera last March 10 (last Sunday), I paid it at March 6 (Wednesday) and it says that "Free Shipping" promo at Ebay or Multiply can take 3-10 working days before you receive the item, but on March 8, Friday the camera arrived at home. Just after 48hours, it arrived at the right time. Save by the belly este bell baby.

So if you guys live at Manila area, you will probably received the item on the same day (for meet-up) or after 24 hours. So yeah, if you are looking for gadgets in super lower price, (I window shop at mall and see a huge difference in price, you'll save P1,000-P2000 pesos in Jeptall!) though you can't get any freebies. But it's okay for me. Jeptall House of Gadgets also has a physical store at Robinson's Forum Pioneer that you can visit. I highly recommend this shop to all of you, they offer a wide range of gadgets that you will surely love!

Should I come back?

When you save, you have something to spend. Yes, that's what I did for the past 3 months. And I am happy to say that finally, I have my new camera for my blog. I know this worth not that much but I am very proud of myself that I can buy gadgets now that came from my hard earned money.

I already told ya guys that I need to stop buying things which I don't really need so I can buy a new android phone and new camera. Last year I finally had my braces last October, and got my new cheap android phone last December.

And now, after 3 months, I have my new compact digital camera that I can use again for my blog. Saving money is really worth it!

But I am still thinking if I should pursue blogging. Are you guys going to read my new posts? Hmmm. . Should I continue this thing? I just wanted to hear your thoughts :)
